Reviews
Best restaurant in Kodiak and the staff is for sure the hardest working. Never have I ever been upset with the quality of food.
Noodles is the best! Great staff, amazing food and just a cool place to be in Kodiak.
Probably more of a 3.5 for me but rounding up because the service was fairly solid. I ordered the spicy seafood noodles, expecting it to be kind of like a Korean jjamppong. It was roughly that general idea give or take. I didn't like how they used thin rice noodles in the soup -- I'm definitely a wide and flat noodle kind of person, especially when it comes to spicy seafood noodle soup. They were fairly generous on the amount of seafood and beef. The dish wasn't particularly spicy overall and was really dominated by mushroom flavor which I didn't like as much -- wish it had been more seafood/beef oriented. Price was a little on the high end as well. I tried a bit of my friend's drunken noodle dish and it was far inferior to the drunken noodles we had at a hole in the wall in Healy a couple of days prior. If you're looking for Asian food in Kodiak, I'd probably go to Kodiak Hana instead.
We came here on the last night of our visit to Kodiak and I wish we had come here earlier so we could've come here more than once. It is a lot more spacious inside than it looks from the outside. The menu offers Thai, Chinese, Korean and even a few Vietnamese dishes like pho. We got the pineapple fried rice and the stone bowl bi bin bop (mixed rice) and both were delicious! The portions are a good size and this would be a great place if you have a bigger group because you can share the plates. Service was great and this place is quite a gem and we are so glad we came before leaving!
I had the pad tofu dish and it was delicious. I was in town for work, and I've always had a hard time finding vegetarian food while in Kodiak. This place hit the spot! Very clean restaurant. Friendly and fast service, very tasty meal and the waitress was very inviting and helped me decide what to order. Best meal I've had in Kodiak!
